Today's project features the beautiful Picture Perfect Party Suite, you can find this on page 4-5 in your Occasions Catalog. I cased this card from my talented and beautiful friend The Paper Pixie, Julie DiMatteo, you can see her amazing work on her blog https://thepaperpixie.com .
The other day my husband called me on is way from the office and told me he needed a birthday card for his assistant for the next morning. I didn't have any birthday card in hand, so I ran to my craft room and of course SU! was there to the rescue! I was able to put this card together very easy and quickly, I even made a bag tag for him to put on the bag they were using to wrap the gift.
The Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set includes 18 photopolymer stamp. For this project I use one of my favorite sentiments of this catalog. Working with the Perfect Picture Designers Series Paper is so easy, I mean look at this paper, every image is so beautiful it's hard to decide which one to use!
I use Bermuda Bay as the base of my card, then add a layer of Lemon Lime Twist and finally place the beautiful DSP on top. Then, I used the Banner Triple punch to make my banner on top and add my sentiment. For the final touch I color the White Perfect Accents with my Stampin' Blends Markers to match the color of my card.
For the bag tag, I just layered some different sizes of strip of paper and again used my Banner Triple punch. I add a ballon from the Balloon Honeycomb Embellishment package and attached it to the bag using a clip from the Gold Library Clips package. Very easy and simple yet very beautiful!
My husband's assistant LOVED her card and bag tag and my husband was very proud to say I made it for him ... This are the benefits of having a crafty wife right? lol.
Thanks for stopping by and stay tune for my next project next Friday!
